Women don't create companies...

"Women don't create companies, they give birth to them," said Rachel Elnaugh in her blog that I've been reading eagerly over the past few days: http://racheleelnaugh.blogspot.com

Innocense Lost

There are things in my life that seem to drag on and on and on and in a wane hope that one day "I'll get round to it": losing my virginity (well, I did get round to it at a ripe age of 22), having children, mending my socks, starting a blog. Not that they aren't appealing that much, it's just always something else that gets in the way until one day you say: "That's it! Now or never!"

I know another thing - that "now or never" moment never happens without certain pressuress accumulating to a critical point where holding them becomes painful and pointless. And anyway, as Daniel Goldman mentioned in "Emotional Intelligence", writing one's thoughts is good for mental health, and that's exactly the sort of health that always seem to be scarce in my otherwise pretty sound life.

At the end of the day, of all possible ways to procrastinate best to choose the one that leads to at least a skinny promise of immortality! (You wish.)
